Kiplinger Research Library

The Kiplinger Research Library is the DC History Center’s non-circulating, special collections repository of Washington, DC history. The DC History Center began collecting in 1894. Today’s collections include books, documents, journals, maps, photographs, art, and ephemera.

To make an appointment, request reference support or if you need help learning to search the DC History Center’s collections via the online catalog or are seeking general guidance on how to start your research, reach out to library staff via email - library@dchistory.org.
