In 2022 DC History Center, the White House Historical Association, the Charles Sumner School Museum and Archives, and the DC Public Library's People's Archive collaborated to bring history to life. The professional development opportunity for DC teachers and librarians reaching grades 3-12 encourages civic engagement while providing educators behind-the-scenes access to local cultural heritage organizations.
This educational program is supported by a grant to the DC History Center from the Office of the Secretary of the District of Columbia.
