In 2023, the Library of Congress released an updated guide to Religion Collections in Libraries and Archives: Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia, a directory of large or unique religion collections in Maryland, Virginia, and District of Columbia libraries and archives. This guides includes live links to materials at more than 20 locations in DC, including archival repositories and individual places of worship, as well as materials throughout the DMV.
