National History Day
It's not just a day - it's a year long experience.

To coincide with the commemoration of the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, the theme for 2025-2026 is Revolution, Reaction, Reform in History As of the 2024-2025 school year, the DC History Center serves as the DC affiliate for National History Day, and the DC contest is held in person! Whether you’re an old hand or new to NHD, we’d love to have you participate!
