The DC History Center participated in a project to create the 2016 Guide to Selected Resources Relating to D.C.’s LGBTQ Communities Available at Local Repositories.
This guide builds on and expands this work for anyone interested in learning more about LGBTQ DC. In this resource guide you will find several resources that share information related to the history of the LGBTQ+ community within the Washington, DC area.
This guide is organized by repository and includes information needed to contact that repository - each page lists related materials about LGBTQ DC. This guide is not intended to be comprehensive list of all resources pertaining to DC LGBTQ community, but does provide a place for anyone to begin research within and beyond the DC History Center.
